Discover ParkALot a parking space booking mobile application concept, simplifying urban parking. Here convenience meets efficiency, made to streamline the parking experience ensuring the finding and securing parking space as hassle free as possible.

Problem Statement

  • Car parking is a nightmare as parking spots are limited with the rapidly increasing number of cars, this at times leads to traffic congestion.
  • The lack of parking causes the users to walk long distance to their destinations after parking the car far away.
  • Most parking still used physical tokens/tickets which leads to wastage and no option for pre occupy a parking space.
  • No way to find the parked car in a packed parking space.

To understand user challenges with parking, their practical and emotional struggles, the research is conducted below :

  • What difficulties do you face to search for parking?
  • What hours do you struggle the most to fid the parking?
  • How much are you charged per vehicle for the parking?
  • Why do you think the parking situation has become this difficult in urban areas?
  • The most difficult part of the experience is to get a parking near the destination.
  • During peak office hours, parking search is time consuming and often causes delays.
  • Parking is highly expensive in urban areas.
  • Very limited parking in densely populated areas, is a big reason of headache for car users.
